Bite Me

We recently finished a re-watch of "Millennium," the Chris Carter-created TV series that used the famous image of a snake eating its tail -- known as ouroboros -- as its logo. This struck me as a particularly non-animal-like behavior.

(Drawn on the back of a business card, so don't enlarge the image too much -- it was pretty small to begin with!)

Guilty as charged

Autobiography at its finest.

Now that's putting your neck out

This is a bit of a callback to an earlier cartoon. (I definitely have my themes...)

I felt like drawing a cute whale (but then things got a little dark...)

Drama

Cattitude

I'm getting into my brushes lately (even though I'm still figuring out what to do with them).

Survival skills

Adapt or die, amirite?

(A quick two-minute sketch. I'll probably redraw this at some point, but it's good enough for now.)

Ouch.

(Stop me before I pun again.)

Note to self: Use photo reference more often

Guilty as charged.

Identity

(Who doesn't?)

This week's sketchy cartoon. Probably drawn some time after my puggle started howling.

Seeds the day

(A quick cartoon I sketched on the back of a business card.)

'Tis the season

(The colored pencils on this one didn't scan too well, but just imagine that they look awesome.)

I just felt like drawing a grumpy cat

What Steinbeck forgot

This week's quick-sketch (and poorly scanned) cartoon. Only a few more to go to meet my goal of publishing one a week for the entire year!

The truth hurts

Take your opportunities where you can find them

(Another quick sketch, poorly scanned, but I'm still keeping up my weekly schedule, so I'll take it.)
